After graduating with a BA in Animation, Kat briefly worked on "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" and Michael Winterbottom's "Killer Inside Me”. 

She then joined Wes Anderson's "Fantastic Mr Fox" where she spent over 2 years as part of the Editorial team.

She then joined The Assembly Rooms, a boutique offline edit house in Soho where she spent 6 years specialising in short form, with a keen interest in docs, before going freelance and setting up her own company Edit Collective with Agathe Barbier. 

Edit Collective is a London based edit collective and support network for female, non-binary and trans identifying, editors working in Film and TV. 



Kat has worked with Bafta Award Winning Directors - Christine Cynn “Act of Killing”, Molly Dineen “The Ark" and Amanda Blue "Prescott: The Class System and Me”. 

Amanda’s, real family portrait for "Dove - A Mother's Body" won a  London International Award and a Silver Shark for Editing.
